Email Reminder & Service Email Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. What We Send

We do not sell or rent your email address to third-party marketers. We use email for account/service communications, support correspondence, configurable educational reminders, and a post-exam survey invitation. Emails may include personalised study statistics, priority questions or links back to your account.

2. Study Reminder Frequency

Study Preferences controls routine educational reminders: Intense (daily), Moderate (two selected days each week), Light (one selected day each week), or None. 'None' stops routine study reminders; it does not prevent messages that are necessary to operate the account/service. The post-exam survey invitation is scheduled separately from routine reminder intensity.

3. Scheduling & Personalisation

Reminder timing uses your browser timezone and selected send time. Reminder content may use your exam date, activity, mastery, priority subjects/questions, badges and mock/projection data to make the message relevant to your revision.

4. Unsubscribe, Bounces & Complaints

Automated user emails include one-click unsubscribe where applicable. An explicit unsubscribe is recorded separately from choosing reminder intensity None and is respected by scheduled non-essential email, including the post-exam survey invitation. Hard bounces and complaints trigger suppression to protect users. Essential account/security or individually requested support correspondence may still be sent where lawful and operationally necessary.

5. Support Correspondence

Support Portal submissions are stored in the support system. Authenticated requests use the registered account email. Existing support requests may be retained and flagged if the linked user later deletes their account.
