Cookies & Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. What We Store on Your Device
FRCR Physics uses browser cookies and local/session storage to operate the website and remember user-requested settings. Examples include Authentication/session state, the local session identifier used for sign-out controls, active mock recovery state, theme/audio preferences, one-time UI state and the record that the storage notice has been dismissed.
2. Essential & User-Requested Functionality
Authentication/session storage and security state are necessary to provide a signed-in account. Some local storage is used to remember functionality you request, such as theme, audio state and recovery of an in-progress mock. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers.
3. Learning Data
Your persistent learning record is primarily stored against your authenticated account in our database. Temporary local state may be used to prevent loss of progress or make the interface responsive. Clearing browser storage can sign you out and may remove unsynchronised local preferences or an in-progress local recovery state.
4. Changes to Storage Technologies
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or other storage that requires consent under UK privacy rules, we will update this policy and the consent controls before enabling it for users who have not consented.
